Delete your BiteSage account and data
Deletion is permanent. Your profile, every meal you logged, every stored meal photo, your weight and hydration entries, your reminder settings and your account itself are erased and cannot be recovered.
1. Cancel your subscription first
Deleting your BiteSage account does not cancel a paid subscription, because subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by us. Cancel it before you delete your account:
- iPhone / iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → BiteSage → Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → BiteSage → Cancel subscription.
2. Delete from inside the app (fastest)
If you still have the app installed:
- Open BiteSage.
- Go to Settings → Privacy and security.
- Under Your data, tap Delete my account.
- Type the confirmation word and confirm.
The deletion runs immediately. Tip: if you want a copy of your data first, use Settings → Privacy and security → Your data → Export my data before deleting.
3. Delete by e-mail (if you cannot open the app)
Send an e-mail to burakaltan885@gmail.com from the e-mail address registered on your BiteSage account, with the subject Account deletion request.
- Please state that you want your BiteSage account and all associated data deleted.
- We verify that the request comes from the account holder and may ask one follow-up question to confirm it.
- We do not ask for your password. Never send it to us.
4. What is deleted, and when
- Deleted: your account and sign-in record, profile and goal plan, all meals and meal items, AI analysis records including any stored text or voice transcripts, stored meal photos, weight and hydration entries, streaks, notification preferences and any data export files.
- Kept: your consent records, as an audit trail of what you agreed to and when, and billing records that we are required to keep under tax and commercial law (in Türkiye, 10 years). These are kept in isolation and are not used for any other purpose.
- Timing: deletion from the app is immediate. An e-mail request is completed within 30 days of us verifying it, and normally much sooner. Backups are overwritten on the normal backup rotation, at most 30 days later.
You will receive a confirmation once the deletion is complete.
BiteSage hesabınızı ve verilerinizi silin
Silme işlemi kalıcıdır. Profiliniz, kaydettiğiniz tüm öğünler, saklanan tüm öğün fotoğrafları, kilo ve su kayıtlarınız, hatırlatma ayarlarınız ve hesabınızın kendisi silinir; geri getirilemez.
1. Önce aboneliğinizi iptal edin
BiteSage hesabınızı silmek ücretli aboneliğinizi iptal etmez; çünkü abonelikler bizim tarafımızdan değil, Apple veya Google tarafından faturalandırılır. Hesabınızı silmeden önce iptal edin:
- iPhone / iPad: Ayarlar → adınız → Abonelikler → BiteSage → Aboneliği İptal Et.
- Android: Google Play → profil simgesi → Ödemeler ve abonelikler → Abonelikler → BiteSage → Aboneliği iptal et.
2. Uygulama içinden silme (en hızlısı)
Uygulama hâlâ kuruluysa:
- BiteSage'yı açın.
- Ayarlar → Gizlilik ve güvenlik bölümüne gidin.
- Verileriniz başlığı altında Hesabımı sil seçeneğine dokunun.
- Onay kelimesini yazın ve onaylayın.
Silme işlemi hemen gerçekleşir. İpucu: önce verilerinizin bir kopyasını almak isterseniz, silmeden önce Ayarlar → Gizlilik ve güvenlik → Verileriniz → Verilerimi dışa aktar seçeneğini kullanın.
3. E-posta ile silme (uygulamayı açamıyorsanız)
BiteSage hesabınızda kayıtlı e-posta adresinden burakaltan885@gmail.com adresine, konu satırı Hesap silme talebi olacak şekilde bir e-posta gönderin.
- BiteSage hesabınızın ve ilişkili tüm verilerin silinmesini istediğinizi belirtin.
- Talebin hesap sahibinden geldiğini doğrularız; teyit için tek bir soru sorabiliriz.
- Parolanızı istemeyiz. Parolanızı bize asla göndermeyin.
4. Neler siliniyor, ne zaman
- Silinenler: hesabınız ve giriş kaydınız, profiliniz ve hedef planınız, tüm öğünler ve öğün kalemleri, saklanan metin veya ses dökümleri dâhil tüm yapay zekâ analiz kayıtları, saklanan öğün fotoğrafları, kilo ve su kayıtları, seriler, bildirim tercihleri ve varsa veri dışa aktarım dosyaları.
- Saklananlar: neye ne zaman rıza verdiğinizin denetim izi olarak rıza kayıtlarınız ve vergi ile ticaret mevzuatı gereği saklamak zorunda olduğumuz fatura kayıtları (Türkiye'de 10 yıl). Bunlar ayrı tutulur ve başka hiçbir amaçla kullanılmaz.
- Süre: uygulama içinden yapılan silme anında gerçekleşir. E-posta talebi, doğrulamamızdan sonra 30 gün içinde — genelde çok daha kısa sürede — tamamlanır. Yedekler olağan yedek döngüsünde en geç 30 gün içinde üzerine yazılır.
Silme tamamlandığında size bir onay iletilir.
